Ophthalmic use of Besivance What exactly is the besivance? Besivance, also known as besifloxacin, is an antibiotic that is classified as a member of the fluoroquinolone class. The antibacterial agent besifloxacin eliminates microorganisms from the body. Besivance is an antibacterial medicine that is prescribed to patients who have been diagnosed with ocular bacterial infections. Information That Is Vital If you have ever had an allergic reaction to besifloxacin, you should not take Besivance. Use this medicine precisely as your healthcare provider has instructed you to. What can I expect if I forget to take a dose? Take the medication as soon as it is convenient for you to do so, but avoid the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dosage.
