Before beginning to use this medication If you are allergic to prednisolone or if you have a fungal infection anyplace on your body, you should not take prednisolone since it might make your condition worse. Your immune system may become compromised if you use prednisolone, making it more likely that you may contract an infection. Steroids have the potential to either make an illness you already have worse or bring back an infection you had not long ago. Talk to your primary care physician about any illness or infection you've had in the recent past, especially if it's been more than a few weeks.
